Do you know where to find- Maids a’Milkin, the Butcher, the Baker, & a Candlestick Maker? ... It’s about time that you do! This is certainly the time and place to L.E.A.R.N. the traditions and skills of old. I'm prepared to help connect you to them as we go on our way "Back to the Future!" With this pandemic our farm has been greatly impacted by the loss in agritourism, events, campaign plans, etc. However, what I mean by impact is not at all a negative thing. Although our way forward through this pandemic is still emerging & evolving daily, one thing is for sure... The need to be a part of a family farm has never been more relevant! I hope you can feel what I’m saying. Something is happening here that has made us just stop and from that pause, I have felt a “reset”. Like self-regulation is happening and through all of this, I realize that we are now to make our way Back to the Future ~ A Regenerative Sustainable Future! When we look at patterns of dominance of a species in nature, self-regulation happens continually. We can learn from its adaptation and allow that same mentality to be applied to our own lives. We can come through this as a changed community who adopted the sustainable concept of consuming less, buying local, and choosing better by exercising our most basic rights as inhabitants of a planet that we are privileged to call our home! It’s time we do better than this horrific dominance of endlessly increasing industries created to support our ever-fulfilling lifestyles. Starting with leaving a dominant industrial enslaving economic food system as well as then supporting better choices throughout every industry within our community! That being said... Life is waiting for you right here at Slak Market Farm! We actually have - 2 Maids a’Milkin, the Butcher, the Baker, and yes even a Candlestick Maker! ![]() Our farms herd share is ready to bring your family into the fold and position all of us up for a positive future ahead. We’re operating this farm to share with your family. This is your soft place to fall! As your farmer I want you to know that you can depend on the reliability of our herd share to provide you with the products your family needs most to develop and maintain a naturally strong healthy immune system.
